My proposal...

I propose a year-long commitment for this study.  I will contact you weekly through email with a project.  These projects may involve practice, reading, meditation, writing, artwork.  You will return the project or a report on it to me in the time allotted, also electronically. I will assign you several books to read over the course of our time together.  It will be your responsibility to find a copy of the book and to read the assigned portions.

We will meet together in person two or three times. We will do ritual together, discuss the work we're doing, eat, dance, sing. This will require you to travel to the Asheville area and you will be responsible for both travel and accommodation expenses.

Your fee for this study is $50 per month, payable in advance.  We can work out the method of payment after you've decided to commit to the work.  I will take a few barter/trade students, if you live in the area and have a service or product you would like to exchange.

I will take no more than thirteen of you.  That will assure you of my personal attention. Each of you will be vetted for your suitability--ask yourself now if you are motivated, if you have the time, if you really want to learn this. Please don't waste your time or mine.

From time to time, I will bring in colleagues who have direct experience or knowledge of specific techniques or modalities.
